Feb 1, 2013 – LINCOLNSHIRE, IL – Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today introduces ACM 150, a centralized gas monitoring system with an advanced Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy bench capable of detecting virtually any gas, chemical, odor, metal organic, organic or other ‘exotic’ gas found in the semiconductor and other High Tech manufacturing industries. Using a unique Infrared “fingerprint” to identify low levels of the target gas, ACM 150 accurately and specifically monitors to new Lower Detectable Limit (LDL) levels and provides reduced maintenance and service requirements over the life of the instrument.
A key attribute of ACM150 is the Honeywell Analytics redesigned User-Interface (UI), a customer-friendly advancement that delivers superfast response time and practically eliminates ‘idle time’. ACM150 delivers quicker analysis of site conditions, providing site operators with a quick means of monitoring any area during an emergency.
ACM 150 Quick Facts:
Up to 40 measuring points can be centrally located to one device for protecting an array of equipment and processes including process tools, gas and chemical storage units, gas cabinets, distribution boxes, process tools, emission measurement and ambient air monitoring.
Up to 15 gases can be detected per measuring point, lowering the cost per point of gas monitoring.
Self diagnostic programming detects faults and critical alarms, eliminating many maintenance calls.
Communications options meet a range of site requirements (Lonworks®, ControlNet™, Modbus®, Profibus®)
