A good example of the way we work can be seen in our close relationship with the offshore industry, where our fixed gas detection systems cover processing areas such as the well deck, refuges, oil de-watering plant and gas compressors, analysis and laboratory blocks together with accommodation areas.

Fixed monitoring equipment from Sieger is supplemented by Lumidor, supplying rugged portable gas detection equipment for the inspection of confined spaces.

The investment in such devices is driven, primarily, by the need for compliance to National and European legislation, including the new ATEX 100 and ATEX 118a regulations introduced in June 2003, together with best practice site guidelines.
