Lincolnshire, Illinois, March 2, 2011 — Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced today that it   has entered into a new sales and marketing agreement with Airgas, Inc. (NYSE: ARG) of North America. Airgas, the industrial and specialty gas supplier for Honeywell’s Aerospace, Transportation Systems, Automation and Control Solutions, and Specialty Materials groups, now offers Honeywell Analytics’ full line of gas detection products.

Included in the line of gas detection products available from Airgas is the Honeywell Analytics XNX single-platform product line that combines the XNX transmitter with a full complement of gas sensing technologies and related instrumentation, including open path and point infrared, electrochemical and catalytic bead gas detectors, ultraviolet and triple infrared flame detectors. Honeywell Analytics instrumentation is designed for seamless integration with Airgas products.

The new partnership will serve customers who operate production facilities, cylinder fill plants and specialty gas laboratories in the oil and gas, petrochemical, wastewater, and other industrial environments — wherever hazardous gases are part of, or created as a byproduct of an industrial process.
